A new IMHA board of Directors was elected, 24-4-03 in Barcelona (Spain). Dr. Luisa Canals (Spain) is now the IMHA president, Dr. Pedro De Guzman (Philippines) the vice-president, Dr. Tim Carter (UK) the secretary and Dr. Eilif Dahl (Norway), Dr. Mohammed Walid Daoud Khalil (Kuwait) Dr. Ülle Lahe (Estonia) and Dr. Bas Rikken (The Netherlands) are the new board members. Elections are every two years. The first IMHA board was elected in 1997 and re-elected in 1999 for two years more, then in Manila, 2001, and in Barcelona, 2003, new IMHA board replace those going.
